My “Century” System that I have been perfecting for the past 5 years ensures this. Absolutely not and you shouldn’t be drinking the “meal prep” Kool-Aid either! When you sign up we spend a week getting an idea of what your normal day to day and weekend food habits look like. From there we start making some very slight tweaks to the content and calories so you can adjust naturally. The big secret about fitness is that it is easy to eat “Healthy” without being a masochist Whole-Foods weirdo. I’ll show you the way!
Nope! Never. If you have had bad experiences with trainers who think dropping needless volumes equals ‘hardcore’ then you can be sure that what you experienced isn’t actual personal training. The PERSONAL matters more than the Training. The workouts here are “universally scaled,” with a different version of each days workout designed to meet you at YOUR CURRENT LEVEL, and of course, grow with your growing abilities and its simple to adjust for old injures or even rehabbing new injuries.
Of course, as you level up you can take on more intense variants of the workouts. If you are already at an elite level then I can certainly help polish specific parts of your training game.
Besides my 1970’s weights, my awesome dog and Killer “Cobra Kai” 80s rock playlist??? 2 things stand out. For one, I was NEVER an athlete growing up. Even in the Army I was a total screw-up. I didn’t pick up my first dumbbells until I was 33 years old and by that time I had a two pack a day cigarette habit and a bad back as well as a very time/energy demanding job as a Paramedic so I know all too well the challenges of a real “grown up” trying to get in shape. As I write this, I am getting close to 50 with 20 year old’s asking me how to get “jacked” (ha) so I can promise you that whatever you want to achieve it is probably possible. Second, unlike a lot of trainers/gyms, my studio is not designed to try to keep you here forever. There are no contracts here EVER. However the important part here is that it is my #1 goal for ALL of my clients to be able to train themselves, design their own programs and monitor their own diet WITHOUT ME inside of 4 months. A lot of teaching goes on while training and I make sure people leave with a plan in place. The BEST feeling as a trainer is for a client to no longer need me (but keep in touch!! ha)
